Tinkerbelle and Meeko Q&A Featuring I and love and you!
Hello Darlings!
With my pups’ Instagram growing by the minute, I’ve noticed that I’ve been receiving a ton of questions about what I feed them, how to take care of them, and what they love! So, The girls and I created a fun little YouTube video answering lots of questions that we’ve been asked (watch it at the end of this post)!
One of the most frequent questions we get asked is about food and treats. I’m happy to announce that we have teamed up with their (and my) favorite dog food brand, I and love and you! Based locally just up the highway in Boulder, I first fell in love with the brand seeing it on the shelves at Sprouts- the packaging and name was too cute not to notice. Fast forward to a few months later when I was at a Friday Night Yoga Club event here in Denver, I spotted samples of the food being passed out by a rep. Needless to say, we’ve been big fans ever since. So when ILY reached out asking about the girls, I jumped at the opportunity!
What Tinkerbelle and Meeko Are Eating
We’ve tried a few varieties of the ILY dry dog food and decided to stick with the Red Meat Medley Recipe (the Simply Sea Variety was the runner up) because the girls, including my pickier-than-a-toddler Tinkerbelle, gobble it up. Grain free, and chock full of pork, lamb meat, lentils, bison, veggies, and fruit, you can’t go wrong with real ingredients. Plus, the kibble is shaped like hearts. So. Cute.
I also supplement the fluffs’ dry food with the Raw Raw Beef Boom Ba Dinner dehydrated food (I completely forgot to mention this in my video!). Honestly, I would feed them the dehydrated food 100% of the time (seriously, the first ingredient is free range, freeze dried beef) but with my crazy schedule I’ve been wonderful at having to rehydrate the food before feeding. Whoops.
ILY also makes treats that the girls follow me around the house for. Two of their favorites are the Ear Candy Beef Ear Chews that come from grass fed and antibiotic free Brazilian cattle and the Venison and Lamb Jerky Bites that are 95 percent meat and the perfect size for training!
About the I and love and you Company
I don’t just love the brand because the ingredients are fantastic. The people behind the brand (I met the CEO at a media event earlier this autumn) have a genuine love of animals and the environment. Not only do their office dogs take over their Instagram, but their whole office aims to be as sustainable as they possibly can; to the point that their office building is 100% wind powered. So. Cool.
Overall, I really enjoy the brand and what it stands for and Tinkerbelle and Meeko have been drooling (literally) over every product I’ve brought home. Happy mom, happy pups, can’t get better than that.
