I have a new obsession. I know that there are about a zillion different kinds of bars out on the market and I feel like I have tried just about every one. But I’ve fallen in love with goodnessknows. Chock full of fruit, nuts, grains, and chocolate (!) they are super tasty and give you such a wonderful energy boost.
goodnessknows bars officially have replaced the snacks I usually tote around on hikes here in Colorado. If you’ve been following me on social media you might have noticed that I popped up to Aspen this past week. Long story short I’ve been needing a break from city life and really needed to recharge out in nature. Which means that I needed something delicious to snack on while I followed the pups around!
The ingredient list on the bars is great. No high fructose corn syrup, no artificial sweeteners, colors, or flavors, and the first ingredient in my favorite bar, the Apple, Almond, Peanut, and Dark Chocolate bar, is dried apples. You can’t get better than that.
I love the whole-foods aspect of the bars. I am incredibly sensitive to most sugars and a lot of bars give me sugar spikes which lead to crashes- not so fun. But these, fueled by nuts and fruit, I can avoid the crash. Plus, you don’t have to eat the whole bar. They are very easy to share, as each bar is broken into four squares, simple and effective.
