National Nutrition Month with BabbleBoxx #Sponsored

A huge part of holistic health is healthy eating! So I am always excited to try new foods, ways of eating intuitively, and finding new resources to help me understand the foods that I am putting into my body on a deeper level. National Nutrition Month is a wonderful initiative that spotlights nutrition in general, so I hopped on board with BabbleBoxx to try out some of the latest and greatest innovations in the field!

First up is a tried-and-true brand with a new (to me!) product! My mom is a naturopathic doctor and a master herbalist, so organic Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar has been a staple in my home since before I can remember- I have never *not* had some on hand! So when I spotted Bragg’s new Apple Cider Vinegar Prebiotic Refreshers I was very curious.

These refreshers use AVC but add flavor! Each of the two flavors, Ginger Lemon Honey and Honey Green Tea have two full tablespoons of ACV in the bottle, but are easy to drink! Perfect for the apple cider vinegar newbie, who is a bit wary of straight vinegar in the morning.

Now, I LOVE food, so for something to trump food in a collection it has to be *amazing.* That being said, my favorite item that came in this month’s BabbleBoxx was the incredibly informative illustrative food book, ’Eat This Book’ by Stacy Michelson. Not only is the artwork super fun and eye-catching, but each page teaches you all about the different types of food you use both in everyday life and some things you may never have heard of before. From sauces and grains to fruits and veggies there’s a page for everything!

I consider my self a veteran even when it comes to more exotic food, but even with all of that knowledge I still learned something new. My favorite pages were actually the pages that highlight a single ingredient and showcase it in all its forms; take radishes for example. I know so many of the different varieties, but seeing them in picture form all laid out showed me how much I actually *don’t* know!

With knowledge comes power, but sometimes that knowledge isn’t easy to put into use when we lead such busy lives! Enter Veestro. I have loved their plant-based meals for months now and they make eating healthy with fun ingredients easy! Not only is it delicious with options like Tortilla Chili and mushroom-based Fajitas, it is SUPER quick because all the meals are fully-prepared! Pop them on the stove or in the microwave you have a healthy meal in a few minutes made from so many of the ingredients you could have learned about in ‘Eat This Book!’

Usually I shy away from meal delivery services because of the sheer amount of waste they create, but Veestro breaks that mold. Their company is steeped in planet-forward practices like 100% recyclable packaging and compostable food trays, as well as great sourcing for their ingredients that also have no artificial flavors or preservatives! Psst.. use code BABBLE25 for 25% off any order until March 31st!

Last but not least, Chomps grass fed and finished meat sticks are the perfect snack for on the go! Chomps uses proteins like grass-fed and finished beef and venison (I happen to LOVE venison such great, robust flavor!) and free-range turkey, plus their products are made without all the not-so-great ingredients like GMOs, nitrates or nitrites, MSG, artificial preservatives or coloring, and artificial sweeteners. These super portable beef jerky sticks pack a hearty nine grams of protein with no sugar! Want 20% off Chomps? Use code BABBLE20 until March 31st!

So, I’m curious- what are your favorite new innovations in the nutrition space? Are you looking for fun ways to learn more like in healthy eating books like ‘Eat This Book?’ or are you more interested in the best meats sourced from farms with great animal husbandry practices? (Both is a very acceptable answer!)
