This pandemic has changed a lot of things- from how we interact to how we work and shop and play and everything in between. For me, this puts even more of an emphasis on versatility in my daily life. I need to be able to seamlessly transition from a workplace to a socially distance hike or cocktail without having to run home in between. This means that I’ve adapted my habits and my wardrobe to place comfort and the ability to be flexible at the top of my ‘needs’ list.

It is always fun to discover a collection that makes it easy to do just that- adapt. The Glam On line from adidas is perfect for this! It is fashionable and fun without skimping on comfort. It has everything from performance leggings that you wouldn’t think twice about seeing walk down a runway (I can’t get over their details!) to jackets and shoes with fashion-forward silhouettes but fabrics built for athletes. I’m loving their cropped tees paired with fun beanies for the daytime and then throwing on a jacket to make the outfit a bit more evening-friendly!

With daylight waning as winter approaches and the temperatures dropping, having lots of layers that coordinate and keep me comfortable is key. Here in Denver you can easily have a day that swings from 70 degrees to 35 in a few hours- so having a jacket that I can roll up in my bag is great! And in that vein, my wardrobe isn’t the only thing I want to be able to stash! Once I’ve geared up and made my way out of my home I want to make sure that I can get everything I need to finished in one trip. So, my bag is full of things like collapsible grocery bags for my weekly shop, and cutlery for when I decide to support my local eateries by ordering takeout but let them know that I want to skip the extra plastic silverware. I love when everything serves a purpose and makes my life easier when preparation is key to make sure a trip goes smoothly.

Some other things that I have noticed that needed to change when adapting to pandemic conditions are making sure that I have the ability to continue to create wherever I am. I love being able to be comfortable in the car when I can’t do things like wait in the lobby for my pups to have their vet appointments or for my physical therapy- for that reason I have a e-book subscription and portable headphones on me at all times now! But boredom in the car isn’t my only concern! Those adidas layers come back in to play when you drive a black car! Sometimes it is snowing outside so a cozy beanie makes lots of sense and sometimes its 75 degrees in November so a fun little crop keeps me cool!

I’m curious, what have you changed about what you bring with you out of the house as this year created issues to overcome? Did you change your wardrobe or your lunchbox? Did you add something fun into your glovebox? Please do let me know over on Instagram! And don’t forget to check out adidas’ Glam On line- because you have more to do than hours in the day, each piece in the city lights collection is ready for your day, night, and everything in-between!
